What are your rates?

60 Minute Massage Therapy Session

$125 + HST

75 Minute Massage Therapy Session

$140 + HST

90 Minute Massage Therapy Session

$165 + HST

Payment is accepted via cash, e-transfer, debit, and all major credit cards.

An insurance receipt will be provided following your treatment.

Question 3

Do I need to tip?

Accepted Answer

There is no expectation to leave a gratuity following your treatment, and you will not be prompted to tip upon payment.

If you'd like to show your appreciation, I happily accept friends and family referrals!

Question 4

What treatment duration should I book?

Accepted Answer

Treatments are available in 60, 75, or 90 minute sessions.

A 60 minute session is the most popular option, ideal for addressing targeted concerns with some focus on surrounding areas.

For more extensive concerns or those who prefer additional time on the table, 75 or 90 minute sessions are recommended.

Please note that your session includes a required intake and assessment. To maximize hands-on treatment time, consider booking a longer session.

What type of pressure do you use?

It depends!

I am capable of using light, moderate and / or firm pressure.

The pressure used during treatment is based on several factors such as what conditions you are presenting with, how your body responds to treatment, and of course - your individual preferences.
 
This will be discussed with you during your initial intake.

Question 6

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Accepted Answer

My practice is built on a foundation of mutual respect for each other's time.

A valid credit card will be required when booking your initial appointment, and will be stored safely and securely via Square.

Missed appointments or appointments cancelled / rescheduled without a minimum of 24 hours notice are subject to the full treatment fee being charged to the credit card on file.

Your card will not be charged at the time of booking, or for appointments cancelled or rescheduled with 24 hours notice or more.
 
Payment for missed appointments is not eligible for insurance reimbursement.

All bookings made within 24 hours of the appointment time are considered final sale. Booking mindfully is encouraged!

Late arrivals are subject to the full treatment fee.

Frequent Cancellation Policy

Clients with a history of repeat or frequent cancellations will no longer be eligible to pre-book appointments or utilize online booking services.

Do I need to book in advance?

To ensure you secure a spot that works best with your schedule, booking ahead is recommended.

Am I expected to chat during my treatment?

Accepted Answer

Nope!

As an RMT for a decade and counting, I've mastered the art of reading cues.
 
I'm happy to chat, or I'm happy to be silent. 
 
When it comes to conversation, I follow your lead. Always.

How often should I receive a massage?

Accepted Answer

Each case is individual and will be determined after your initial intake and treatment.

Unless we're working through an acute injury that needs more frequent treatment, I typically see folks every 4-6 weeks for regular, maintenance care.

Do you offer Pregnancy Massage?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! 
 
I offer Massage Therapy for all stages of pregnancy, and have taken additional training in Pregnancy and Postpartum Massage Therapy.

I offer Pregnancy Massage in a side-lying position when lying on the abdomen is no longer comfortable.

A system of pillows and bolsters is used to ensure you are comfortable and well supported!

I do not currently offer Pregnancy Massage using a cut-out prenatal pillow or table.

Do you offer TMJ Massage?

I do!

I have taken additional training in TMJ Manual Therapy through the highly regarded From The Neck Up Continuing Education program, and offer TMJ Massage with both internal and external techniques.

TMJ Massage is an excellent treatment for those experiencing jaw tension and fatigue, clicking, popping or locking, as well as symptoms into the head and ear.

Your treatment may include intra-oral (inside the mouth) work, as well as work on the external jaw and neck and shoulders.

Many clients find this to be incredibly relieving of chronic symptoms!

Does your studio have parking?

Yes!

There is driveway parking available for your convenience.

There is also free street parking available directly across the street or on surrounding side streets.

Question 13

Can I bring a friend to my appointment?

Accepted Answer

The studio space is not equipped to accommodate friends, children, or other guests.

Arriving solo for your scheduled appointment is required.

If someone is accompanying you, I recommend they explore the many businesses along nearby Concession Street while they wait.

Question 14

Is your space accessible?

Accepted Answer

My studio is not suited for wheelchair or mobility device access at this time as there is a set of stairs leading down to the treatment area.

Question 15

Do you work with WSIB for workplace accidents or HCAI for motor vehicle accidents?

Accepted Answer

I do not work with WSIB or HCAI claims at this time.
 
Persons who have had a workplace or motor vehicle accident are welcome to use their private insurance benefits or pay out-of-pocket for services rendered, and a reciept will be provided.
